Make a Difference The Corporate Investigator plays a vital role in protecting Community Health Network’s people, assets, and reputation by ensuring compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and Network policies. This role is responsible for planning, coordinating, and conducting internal and external investigations related to allegations of misconduct, fraud, policy violations, and regulatory concerns, while working collaboratively as part of the Corporate Investigations team. The Corporate Investigator prepares thorough, well-documented reports of findings and recommended actions for internal stakeholders, law enforcement, and regulatory agencies, supporting proactive risk mitigation and upholding the integrity and trust of the Network.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice preferred.
  • Current Indiana Driver’s License with valid vehicle insurance.
  • Indiana License to Carry a Handgun within six (6) months of hire.
  • Five (5) or more years of investigative experience in law enforcement, corporate investigations, public safety, loss prevention, or a related field.

Responsibilities

  • Attend and successfully complete all required training.
  • Plan, coordinate, and conduct preliminary and in-depth internal and external investigations involving Network employees and operations.
  • Prepare, submit, and distribute investigative reports with findings and recommended actions.
  • Provide timely notification of pending investigative situations.
  • Interview complainants, witnesses, and persons of interest.
  • Gather and analyze investigative information from multiple sources.
  • Proficiency in operating CCTV surveillance systems and navigating multiple computer software applications
  • Collaborate with Legal, HR, Compliance, and Risk teams.
  • Maintain professional working relationships with law enforcement.
  • Participate in process improvement initiatives.
  • Maintain reliable transportation and insurance.
  • Obtain Indiana License to Carry a Handgun within six (6) months of hire.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
