The Inventory Technician Intern will work 15-25 hours per week, with summer interns typically working 40 hours. This role involves assisting with department administrative duties, verifying shipment details, packaging items, moving items to storage, and inspecting product quality. The intern will also be responsible for receiving, storing, and tracking goods and materials, performing data entry in inventory management software, and maintaining accurate inventory records. Key tasks include maintaining warehouse inventory, operating various warehouse equipment like pallet jacks, powered lifts, and forklifts, performing inventory picks, and utilizing hand tools for opening and sealing containers. The intern will also conduct cycle counts of inventory as required and is expected to maintain a safe and clean 5S work environment while contributing to a productive, safe, and fun culture.
