About The Position

Inventory Supervisor Sunday-Thursday 6:00AM-3:00PM. About this role The Inventory Supervisor is responsible for executing day-to-day inventory functions and first point of contact with Inventory and Customer Service staff. Also responsible for collaborating with other RSC departments and shifts. What You’ll Do Determine work procedures, prepare daily work and count schedules. Expedite workflow for the Inventory Control department. Develop and implement improvements to existing operational procedures in order to maximize efficiency and cut operations costs. Create and track key performance indicators related to inventory management. Conducts daily inventory analysis to solve inventory problems. Develops and implements inventory control procedures. Coordinates and manages daily physical cycle counts. Trains and manages an inventory control team to include issuing written and oral instructions to team members. Assign duties and examine work for exactness, neatness and conformance to policies and procedures. Study and standardize procedures to improve efficiency of workers. Interview and hire new employees. Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Experienced with Microsoft Office and inventory software platforms (Word and Excel)
  • Knowledge of inventory terms and commonly accepted practices

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in a logistics related emphasis, preferred
  • Previous demonstrated leadership role strongly preferred
