The role involves validating planogram accuracy, reviewing reports for on-hand balance and pricing accuracy, and implementing asset protection techniques. The specialist also handles claims for inventory discrepancies and damaged goods. Additionally, the position supports customer experience by engaging customers and, in designated stores, may act as a leader on duty, resolving customer issues and performing store opening/closing duties. Key operational tasks include managing warehouse and vendor deliveries, completing pharmacy inventory activities under pharmacist supervision, executing pricing changes, maintaining accurate inventory counts, ensuring compliance with regulated products, and assisting with physical inventory preparations. The role also involves coaching team members on inventory systems and processes, and requires obtaining and maintaining a valid pharmacy license/certification as required by the state.
