About The Position

ViaPath is seeking an Inventory Specialist to join our growing team. The Inventory Specialist plays a key role in supply chain and logistics for ViaPath by ensuring warehouse is properly maintained, stocked and organized.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • At least 2 years related inventory experience
  • Must have proficient computer skills with excellent experience using Microsoft software including Excel.
  • Excellent verbal and written skills required.
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Excellent teamwork skills
  • Diligent with following processes, ensuring processes are followed
  • Ability to work productively in the midst of a noise level which is typical of a warehouse environment

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with ServiceNow and D365 ERP systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • New Project warehouse set up in D365
  • Warehouse “Location” set up in D365
  • Transfer order receiving in D365
  • Creation of Purchase Requests in D365 for inventory item orders
  • Generating quotes from vendors & Maintaining vendor relationships for inventory items
  • Managing vendor lead times for inventory items via timely PRs and clear communication with Senior Implementation specialist
  • Participating in “ESQ” calls to determine inventory demand from new projects
  • Manage minimum order quantities for inventory items
  • Communicating with Networking, Field Service, and Install teams to maintain proper inventory levels and new parts
  • Close interaction with the Purchasing department on all orders, lead times, and active PRs
  • Participate in the D365 implementation process as needed
  • Process Freight and warehouse invoices in Service Now for approval
  • Effectively use the D365 ERP system to ensure accurate inventory levels are maintained
  • Communicate effectively with individual at all levels of the organization
