About The Position

The Inventory Specialist will be responsible for managing the inventory of all vehicles at the facility within company timelines. This includes documenting vehicle conditions according to company standards, performing a complete inventory, and taking supporting photographs of each vehicle using company-provided tools. The specialist will also direct traffic flow in the receiving area based on a system of priorities to ensure timely processing of vehicle inventory. Furthermore, the Inventory Specialist will facilitate the Copart experience by offering solutions to meet customer needs, leveraging a thorough understanding of Copart policy.

Requirements

Must be 18 years or older
Ability to work outdoors in all seasons
Strong attention to detail
Ability to work in a team environment

Nice To Haves

General automotive knowledge/mechanical aptitude
Basic computer proficiency, with the ability to operate handheld devices
Driver's license
Bilingual skill

Responsibilities

Monitor, maintain and organize the receiving area.
Operate camera and utilize a handheld inventory device to process incoming vehicles.
Determine operational capability of motor vehicles
Complete vehicle inspection inventories (TLEs) on required vehicles.
Maintain inventory of all materials used.
Compliance to company policies and procedures
Compliance to safety requirements.
Perform other duties as assigned.
