About The Position

As an Inventory Specialist at Snowbird under the direction of the Retail Director and Retail Buyer you will assist the Retail Buyer with daily tasks to support the retail stores.

Requirements

• 1-3 years of inventory, retail operations, or stockroom experience.
• Self starter.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Good working knowledge of MS Excel, Word, and Office.
• Positive attitude and strong communication skills.
• Requires some exercise of judgment within policy guidelines and without supervisory approval. For example, use best judgment when answering customer questions within job scope.
• Stock shelves in a timely matter and make sure product is properly rotated.
• Must be 18 years old or older.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with inventory or POS systems is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Support our store managers and Retail Buyer with daily inventory and operational needs.
• Replenish shops with merchandise based on reporting, real-time needs and sell-through.
• Assist with receiving orders, processing, and organizing incoming inventory and transfers.
• Pick, pack and ship orders made via our online store.
• Manage and reply to emails from our online store’s inbox.
• Monitor inventory accuracy and communicate any discrepancies or concerns to management.
• Support merchandising resets and inventory-related floor moves as needed.
• Maintain safe work practices while handling stock or navigation back-of-house areas.
• Work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, ever-changing retail environment.
• Interact professionally with Guests and coworkers, contributing to a positive work environment.
