About The Position

Evaluate and execute purchasing patterns to recommend products required to fulfill inventory needs of a distribution center. Ensure inventory is controlled and accurate through regular cycle counting and quarterly inventory audits..

Requirements

HS Diploma or GED strongly preferred.
Specialized skills training/certification may be required.
Generally, 2-5 years of experience in area of responsibility.

Nice To Haves

2+ years of experience in the inventory field preferred.
1+ years of inventory management experience.
Material handling equipment certification preferred, but can be acquired post-employment.

Responsibilities

Generates inventory study reports, evaluates usage trends and makes recommendations to for purchases.
Researches and resolves all slotting issues, adjustments, and discrepancies while also ensuring compliance with established internal control procedures.
Assists in maintaining inventory accuracy by completing follow up to all previous inventory adjustments then completes and reviews cycle counts.
Creates and maintains items within CSI ensuring that entry is in approved format and has captured all necessary information.
Performs daily cycle count, completes variance research as required and makes necessary adjustments to balance inventory.
Leads quarterly inventory process and works with General Manager and Operations Manager to document variance notes and submit supporting journal.
Partners with regional support teams to create and define network standards. Supports sales team with ETAs, Specials and inventory related questions.
Tracks and recommends rolls that may be returned. Coordinates with internal stakeholders to ensure that return was processed and cleared.
