The Inventory Specialist is responsible for inventory maintenance and reconciliation.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED or equivalent required
• 1+ years of Warehouse/Inventory experience required
• Advanced technical knowledge and working experience with SAP highly preferred
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Excel and Word
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Must have the ability to stand and walk for long periods of time
• Must have the ability to repetitively grasp and manipulate objects of varying size and weight requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination
• Must have the ability to read information in small, medium and large print
• Must have the ability to occasionally lift, push and pull 50+ pounds, reach above head height, squat, kneel, bend and reach
• Must have the ability to push and pull manual and powered handling equipment (i.e. pallet jack, hand-truck etc.) containing product loads for a minimum of 100 yards without assistance

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily cycle counts; research and correct any variances
• Reconcile daily, monthly and annual inventory in SAP
• Review, monitor and address inventory levels to minimize potential risk for out of stocks
• Identify and report close-dated product
• Regularly communicate with Warehouse and Sales Center management in regards to current stock and potential issues
• Run standard inventory reports as requested
