An Inventory Specialist works with and reports to the General Manager and is responsible for HUB operation. This role involves pulling and shipping HUB orders on time, managing parts department cycle counts, plan-o-grams, stocking, callbacks, and MAXI changes. The specialist is also responsible for complying with all federal, state, and local laws, as well as company policies and procedures. Training and developing Team Members to ensure HUB operation according to company standards is also a duty, as directed by the General Manager. The position coordinates product delivery, inventory maintenance, record-keeping, and helps ensure compliance with security, customer service, and record-keeping policies. Key Holder responsibilities include task assignment and completion, safety, and open/close duties. The individual must be competent in oral and written communications and basic math. Prior retail experience, including basic merchandising and inventory management skills, is expected. The role requires the ability to drive a forklift (if certified), use a hand truck and pallet jack, and maintain a professional demeanor when dealing with the public. The job necessitates flexibility in scheduling, including working on short notice, nights, and weekends.
