About The Position

The Inventory Specialist will work under limited supervision and is responsible for maintaining accurate and compliant inventory throughout the full cultivation/production life cycle of each product. This role ensures all batch movements, counts, and status updates are recorded accurately in the company’s ERP system and supporting spreadsheets. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and able to work independently while meeting strict deadlines in a fast-paced cannabis production environment.

Requirements

  • Must be 21+ years of age
  • Able to identify common issues with processed cannabis flower, and assess quality
  • Excellent computer and mathematics skills, data analysis; experience working in Microsoft Excel required
  • Ability to manage complex projects and multi-task with excellent organization skills
  • Able to take initiative and self-manage with limited direction from leadership
  • Comfort with a fast-paced environment and changing requirements
  • Comfortable learning new technologies
  • Aptitude for problem solving and troubleshooting and ability to provide well thought out recommendations
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Calm under pressure
  • Ability to work independently with little supervision
  • Safety and compliance focused
  • Must be able to individually lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Must be able to sit, stand, stoop, crouch, reach, and lift for long periods of time.
  • Must have and be able to maintain a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and reconcile plant inventory from clone to harvest, ensuring accuracy and regulatory compliance.
  • Track plant movements, growth stages, waste, and harvest data in both ERP systems and Excel-based logs.
  • Perform daily/weekly physical plant counts and reconcile any variances.
  • Monitor inventory integrity and proactively identify discrepancies or data gaps.
  • Collaborate with cultivation staff to document plant events, transfers, and environmental conditions.
  • Assist with harvest preparation, documentation, and post-harvest inventory updates.
  • Generate inventory reports, spreadsheets, and dashboards to support cultivation and compliance teams.
  • Ensure all inventory processes meet state/local cannabis regulations and company SOPs.
  • Support internal audits and external compliance inspections by providing documentation and clear audit trails.
  • Work independently to complete time-sensitive tasks with minimal supervision.
  • Participate in problem-solving initiatives to improve workflow efficiency and data accuracy.
  • Assist with inbound and outbound deliveries.
  • Other duties as assigned
