About The Position

To support and lead the inventory services group while maintaining high inventory accuracy and world class customer service. Key Responsibilities Coordinate the implementation of annual inventory counts, periodic cycle counting, reconciliation programs, recalls and product expiration. Assist with work assignment and training of inventory services team members. Coordinate the implementation of established programs related to inventory control and data accuracy (i.e. stock retrievals, expired poly/metal programs, and non-conforming product). Coordinate the inventory data collection program involving Palm Pilot technology, continually researching process improvement. Investigation and problem solving for various inventory management issues. Complete understanding of MFG/Pro functionality as related to inventory management. Ability to recognize problem areas and assist with improvements. Implementation of special projects as initiated by team leader. Assist agents and directors of sales with inventory management for hospitals and Exactech house accounts. Provide superior customer service to all internal and external customers. Know and apply the Quality System and any appropriate Federal and International standards. Assist and support other employees, teams, and personnel as necessary

Requirements

Associate's Degree from an accredited institution required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
3 years experience in inventory control.
Familiarity in working with inventory control and distribution systems.
High level of organization, analytical and communication skills.
Proficient in use of Microsoft Office software suite, including database management.

Nice To Haves

Experience with ERP systems preferred.
Knowledge of total joint or orthopedic industry desired.
