Requirements

High school diploma or GED required.
Ability to successfully participate as a member of a team.
Ability to learn quickly.
Ability to work with minimum supervision.
Ability to learn and execute different tasks throughout the day.
Keyboard skills required.
Accuracy with numbers.
Good communication skills.
Willingness to work in a dynamic and flexible work environment.
Operate mobile equipment (tugger, forklift, automated pallet jack).
Physical Requirements: Ability to frequently lift and carry of up to 35 lbs. In some areas, the ability occasionally to frequently lift and carry up to 45 lbs.
Work with your hands.
The ability to stand for the full 10-hour shift with planned breaks. The duration of standing between breaks varies from 2 hours to 3 ½ hours depending on the work area.
Ability to move items to various manufacturing departments.
Ability to push/pull or carts.
Be able to work around odors (solder/paint).
Ability to work overtime.
Ability to travel by air and ground.
Valid driver’s license.
Must be able to meet and maintain Daktronics Qualified Driver status. Motor vehicle records will be checked.
Fluent in English, written and verbal.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience in receiving, warehouse, inventory, or materials management preferred.
The understanding of material flow in a manufacturing environment also preferred.
Prefer experience with Excel, Word, Outlook, and/or Glovia ERP system.

Responsibilities

Learn Daktronics products, systems, processes, and flow through Daktronics.
Pull parts to fill work orders.
Handle inventory count discrepancies.
Flexibility to work in all manufacturing departments.
Must learn and be able to train employees in all Inventory tasks including: Work Order and pulling, Data Entry, Bulk Staging, and other tasks and procedures.
Safely and responsibly use tools and safe lifting practices.
Correctly follow written instructions.
Accurately record work done.
Consistently complete quality work in a timely manner, including repetitive tasks.
Quickly learn new tasks and accurately perform these tasks as assigned.
Work effectively as a team member, work with little supervision, help when and where needed, make suggestions for process and product improvement, and communicate effectively with team members.
Be at work on time and maintain good attendance; follow company guidelines and policies.
Receive and verify incoming material.
Kit materials and gather documentation needed for production.
Perform physical cycle counts and material audits as assigned.
Perform other duties as needed to meet customer expectations.
