In this role, you will purchase and provide supply support to achieve strategic and real-time objectives for one of the region's most complex wastewater treatment systems. King County Wastewater Treatment Division inventory purchasing specialists manages over 15,000 unique parts in our secured stores to be available when requested and provides procurement services to the trades (crafts) for all other non-inventory items. This position is responsible for overall material readiness of all equipment at the Renton WWTP through the procurement and dispensing of critical spare parts and materials. The Inventory Management work group is small and diverse. We take on big challenges and always work to promote trust. We rely on each other for support, advice, and comradery.
