Requirements

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient in inventory management software and Microsoft Excel
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment

Responsibilities

  • Analyze inventory levels to identify if goods need to be purchased
  • Balance Inventory needs in a multi-branch, multi-distribution center environment
  • Ensure inventory levels are in alignment with sales and expected growth goals
  • Create and communicate purchase orders to our Domestic and International vendor partners
  • Coordinate purchase orders with vendor partners and maintain accurate estimated delivery information
  • Expedite open purchase orders as needed to avoid stock outages
  • Provide periodic updates to the vendor pricing file in the computer system
  • Prepare inventory reports that provide an overview of the product line from a vendor
  • Provide insights and recommendations to management for continuous improvement regarding inventory management processes
  • Update to ERP system related to product details.
  • Collaborate with the product management team related to new and existing products. To include, but not limited to resolve sourcing, pricing, and quality issues
  • Complete other ad-hoc duties as required
