As an Inventory Planner with the Westinghouse Parts Business (WPB) you will support the WPB Fulfillment team in our New Stanton, PA facility. You’ll play a key role in ensuring timely and efficient procurement of mechanical and breaker parts that support the safety and reliability of nuclear plants worldwide. Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, technical, or related field
• 0–2 years of planning experience
• Equivalent combination of experience and education will be considered

Nice To Haves

• SAP experience (production, requisitioning, material master data) is a plus.
• Microsoft Excel experience a plus (V-lookups, pivot tables, etc..)

Responsibilities

• Track & Forecast: Monitor requisitions as they move through the process. Regularly update SAP and other applications with the appropriate information.
• Prioritize Smartly: Evaluate demand driven requisitions, prioritize various reporting and customer needs, and communicate efficiently with multiple groups.
• Support Production: Process purchase requisitions in a timely and efficient manner and support our internal customers throughout the entire production cycle.
• Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work with storeroom personnel on subcontracting orders, material movements, and inventory discrepancies.
• Coordinate Resources: Partner with Production Planning to procure urgent materials needed for production, coordinating with Engineering, as required.
• Optimize Inventory: Responsible for helping to manage stocking levels, lot sizes, and make recommendations when necessary.
