Responsibilities Position Summary: The Inventory Order Picker Lead aids the Supervisor to manage the workload of all Order Picker, including training and mentoring new employees and performs departmental tasks as assigned by the Supervisor.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Minimum of 3 years of experience
Licensed forklift truck operator
Strong Leadership skills
Good computer skills
Strong verbal communication skills
Ability to read and write English and use basic math
Strong organization skills
Good time management skills
Self-motivated and detail-oriented
Team orientation
Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language

Responsibilities

Assisting in managing team members' work in prioritizing and completion of tasks
Teaching new hires how to perform inventory functions properly using Voice Headset/Scanner
Verifying accuracy and quality
Inspecting for damages or defects, records issues, and notifies supervisor
Oversees and assists with picking orders in accordance with location and description
Maintaining department database, preparing routine reports, and filing records
Operating department material handling equipment and assisting in routine equipment maintenance
Following departmental policies, procedures, and objectives, continuous improvement objectives, and safety rules
Perform other work as related to Inventory Department
Employees are responsible to comply with all requirements of Daifuku's QMS policies and procedures.
