We are seeking an Inventory Operations Intern to join our team. This role is crucial for managing returned equipment, maintaining accurate inventory records, and ensuring materials are prepared for installation teams. This full-time summer internship, approximately 40 hours per week from mid-May to mid-August 2026, offers hands-on experience in operations, logistics, and inventory management at our Buhler, KS headquarters. A typical day involves organizing returned equipment, prioritizing testing and processing, logging inventory, preparing items for vendor returns, or coordinating shipments. A significant portion of the internship will focus on clearing a backlog of returned equipment by sorting, testing, and documenting each item to ensure accuracy. The intern will also support the team with basic documentation and operational tasks, thereby enabling the broader team to focus on more complex technical work. By the end of the summer, the intern will have directly contributed to improving inventory processes and supporting the teams that maintain our network.
