Position Summary: Is responsible for inventory strategy and sizing, by monitoring shelf life/calibration management (when required) over his/her finished and spare parts products portfolio, in order to reach targeted service level at optimized costs. Computes SLA (when applicable) and stock parameters and provides manufacturing sites, external suppliers and distribution platforms with the netted unconstrained demand signal. Propose inventory and supply scenarios and put in place transport modes and distribution strategy for products (routine and phase in/out). Manage supply risks, drive products allocations and communicate on backorders or excess/scrap risks and actions plans for mitigation and recovery in collaboration with global/regional/local supply representatives and business partners with a constant focus on customers and continuous improvement. These activities are operated in (potential) co-build with demand managers.
