About The Position

Support warehouse ops with product put-away, cycle counting, audits and movement of equipment/materials across campus Assists with recycling efforts of metal and e-waste Providing support to transportation Familiar with dock operations and able to handle items (up to 35 lbs.) utilizing proper lifting techniques and material handling aids (e.g. pallet jacks, height adjustable carts, etc.) and may operate a forklift upon receipt of internal certification Knowledge of safe material handling practices and ability to maintain compliance with L3Harris specific Environment Health and Safety policy/procedure regarding material handling Drive a straight truck making deliveries and pick-ups on campus as well as to local suppliers as required Occasional inter and intra state pickups and/or deliveries Ability to safely load and secure highly valuable, sensitive parts/material/equipment

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 6 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience.
  • Possess CDL-B license
  • Works well with other – team player
  • Attention to detail- accuracy
  • Flexible and able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to obtain US Government Top Secret security clearance

Nice To Haves

  • Aptitude to learn various software applications
  • Clean drivers license with a minimum of three years’ driving experience
  • Able to obtain DOD Top Secret clearance
  • Licensed to operate forklift and crane preferred
  • Experience working in a warehouse and/or production environment
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Familiar with MS Office applications
  • Ability to maintain a high degree of accuracy
  • Organizational skill – good time management
  • CDL-A preferred
  • HazMat license endorsement preferred
  • Familiar with loading (strapping/tarping) flatbeds
