About The Position

To supply products on a timely basis to our customers, assist customers in stocking adequate parts, and assist in increasing customer sales by managing customer inventory at their facility.

Requirements

  • Strong communication and sales skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Mechanical Aptitude a plus.
  • Technical seminar coordination and presentations are also a requirement of this position.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, ERP or related software to complete reports and logs.
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment with associates.
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand and walk. The employee is occasionally required to sit; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move more than 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Responsibilities

  • Drive daily in company vehicle to customer facilities, take orders and put parts away into designated bins from previous orders.
  • Label and identify all items to be managed in inventory.
  • Load and unload trucks. Place stock on shelves or racks.
  • Maintain customer area to be clean and straightened on a weekly basis.
  • Helps customer determine best products to keep in stock, with input from the customer and outside salesman.
  • Prepares orders and quotes in a timely manner.
  • Turns in signed documentation that customer received material.
  • Assembles bins and racks to store our parts at customer locations.
  • Clearly communicate customer needs to both inside and outside sales, to better serve the customer on products and production selection.
  • Periodically carry the emergency service pager.
