About The Position

Venesco LLC is looking for two Inventory Logistics Specialists to supply warehouse support, and assistance for two major logistics mission programs: medical logistics based on AFI 41 series and line logistics based on AFI 21 series instructions. The medical programs include: the oversight of the procurement of medical supplies and the and the maintenance of medical equipment. Responsible for the procurement and control/accountability of all medical equipment. Also responsible for the medical Technical Order Distribution Office (TODO). The line programs include tool control and accountability, non-medical support equipment, and Foreign Object Damage (FOD). OML is also responsible for those areas that cross both mission areas: Wing Vehicle Control Office (VCO) and the Wing’s Test Measurement and Diagnostics Equipment (TMDE) program. Provide total customer support and service to the entire 711th Human Performance Wing. FOPR 24-40

Requirements

  • The contractor shall have a good working knowledge of the USAF governing supply systems, programs, policies, nomenclature, work methods, manuals, or other established guidelines.
  • A minimum of 6 months experience is required in the supply or warehouse setting, Medical Supply is ideal.
  • The contractor is required to have a valid driver’s license and shall be required to operate hand trucks and forklifts (a valid forklift training certificate is required)
  • Education: Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Requires a thorough knowledge of OSHA and AFOSH ground safety standard

Responsibilities

  • The contractor shall be required to perform supply technician activities including: receiving and delivering supplies, inventory management, storage management, cataloging, property utilization, verification of materials (or merchandise) against receiving documents, noting and reporting discrepancies and obvious damages, routing materials to prescribed storage locations; storing, stacking, or palletizing materials in accordance with prescribed storage methods, rearranging and taking inventory of stored materials, examining stored materials and reporting deterioration and damage, removing material from storage and preparing it for shipment.
  • The contractor shall be required to perform verification of delivery, receipt, storage, and issue of incoming supplies. The contractor shall apply special handling procedures for the following: controlled medical items, gases, precious metals, dangerous and hazardous material, and refrigerated and frozen materials
  • The contractor shall be required to transport supplies and equipment between medical logistics and base support activities and customers.
  • The contractor shall maintain thorough housekeeping standards by cleaning outside around garage door and sweeping/mopping the warehouse daily/weekly. The contractor shall also be responsible for recycling the cardboard by placing it in the appropriate dumpster.
