About The Position

The primary responsibility of the Inventory Cycle Counter involves investigating inventory discrepancies, verifying bin locations and inventory accuracy, and upholding adherence to warehouse/factory cycle count policy. The Counter will be tasked with operating material handling equipment, such as forklifts, to facilitate inventory movement, location adjustments, stacking, and counting. Additionally, the Counter may be required to use computers/scan guns to execute daily counts.

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED
• Experience working in a fast paced and high-volume work environment.
• Strong computer skills and experience utilizing inventory control systems.
• Ability to multi-task and manage priorities based on management and customer requirements
• Proactive “self-starter” with a strong attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to communicate with teammates, understand and provide directions, and make entries on reports/records

Responsibilities

• Conducts daily cycle counts promptly and accurately.
• Ensures all cycle count documents are completed and closed daily.
• Identifies and researches inventory system discrepancies and errors daily.
• Unloads, inspects, segregates, palletizes, and loads products as needed.
• Locates products from storage locations.
• Reports issues and audit statuses to supervisor.
• Processes Return Material Authorizations (RMA) as required.
• Maintains organization and cleanliness of work area/site.
• Notifies supervisor of equipment issues and work hazards in a timely manner.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
