About The Position

Inventory Coordinator analyzes, reports and processes inventory adjustments and reconciling inventory for all finished goods and component raw materials. Process failed transactions, scrap order entries, BOM (Bill of Material) creation & maintenance as needed. The primary focus of this position is to address all issues related to inventory reconciliation, master data accuracy, researching and providing accurate corrective direction to our internal and external teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in a Supply Chain, Business, Logistics or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience is required.
  • Two years of experience in inventory management in a manufacturing environment.
  • Must possess a high level of organizational and communication skills while maintaining numerous projects as an individual contributor and leading cross functional teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Must have advanced level skills in Microsoft Excel.
  • Oracle ERP experience preferred

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Continuous Improvement processes preferred.
  • Certification in Six Sigma or Lean preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure the accuracy of the on-hand inventory through rigorous cycle count processes.
  • Provides day-to-day accountability for inventory including all processes from receipt through shipment of the processes.
  • Ensure cycle count program is functioning properly and adjust as necessary.
  • Apply correct cycle count and other operations procedures.
  • Assist in coordinating product availability to fulfill customer orders.
  • Anticipate supply needs and communicate potential disruptions to management.
  • Support internal and external customer RMA process for efficient, timely and accurate processing in accordance with all necessary regulations.
  • Implement and maintain safety stock and Min/Max levels.
  • Analysis of inventory for phase out and sales of aging inventory.
  • Assist with Supply Chain analysis as required.
  • Assist Distribution Center to identify and improve processes that have a negative impact on inventory accuracy.
  • Coordinate the annual Physical Inventory process in applicable areas as required.
  • Overall inventory accuracy by location and quantities
  • Monitor & report inventory turns, aging, shortages & valuation.
  • On-Time Delivery / On Time Shipments to all internal and external customers.
  • Execute continuous improvement projects to identify and correct processes that impact customer experience.
  • Work with Sales, Customer Service, Manufacturing and Quality Control to improve OTD and ensure customer satisfaction is improving through better inventory accuracy and processes.
