About The Position

As Inventory Coordinator, you will be responsible for providing support to plant operations through the effective utilization of assigned resources. You will perform complex, advanced, diversified and confidential administrative duties while organizing and expediting work through the Plant Manager’s office for follow-up action. You will be required to use a high degree of analytical ability to operate appropriate computer systems while interfacing with Customers, Transportation and Customer Service Representatives. Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED equivalent
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in an office or administrative type position
  • Basic skills with computer applications, to include Microsoft Office, with the ability to learn and use new computer programs
  • Experience with ERP or Procure to Pay systems
  • Must be able to read, interpret instruction and technology and communicate effectively in English
  • Can maintain high attention to details
  • You must be willing to work alongside your team including long days (days, evenings, and nights) as well as overtime, weekend or holiday work.
  • Must be authorized to work in the Unites states without sponsorship now and in the future

Nice To Haves

  • Associates degree or 4+ years of business or accounting experience
  • Ability to describe complex process flow within production environment

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to flour manufacturing function, including daily and monthly reconciliation to inventory on-hand balances
  • Review and coordinate data systems to ensure correct product movement within facilities
  • Verify plant location is in compliance with all inventory cycle counting procedures as defined in SOP's
  • Oversee the movement of new production restages, and recalls, aged product and isolating this product when needed
  • Ensure all shipments are posted, accurate and all required paperwork is verified
  • Monitor outbound consumables for discrepancies and correct reporting (including packaging, not limited to bags, seals, ingredients, and pallets)
  • Resolve all variances, identify root causes, complete training and coaching with results as necessary, and identify trends if applicable
  • Work with reports provided by milling, finance and information from demand planner to identify and resolve inventory discrepancies
  • Forecast and manage empty bags usage and inventories – follow-up on all concerns
  • Coordinate transfers of bags and consumables from third party warehouse.
  • Conduct weekly physical counts of warehouse consumables and responsible for ordering same
  • Oversee CHEP portal on a daily basis as well as annual audit.
  • Provide office support in answering phones, receiving/directing vendors/visitors, and paperwork/access cards to contractors
  • Provide administrative support to the local Administrative Manager
  • Backup for vacation coverage for administrative tasks for elevator supervisor.
  • Backup for vacation coverage for Plant Scheduler – on call hours will be required.
