Ecolab is seeking a Inventory Coordinator Specialist to join our team in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. As a Inventory Coordinator Specialist you’ll help deliver the products that support clean water, safe food, and healthy environments around the world. You’ll play a key role in supporting shipping, receiving, inventory, and warehouse operations. You’ll ensure customer orders are picked, packed, and shipped accurately and on time. This is a hands-on opportunity to grow your skills in a fast-paced setting while contributing to a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement. How You’ll Make an Impact: Perform daily and weekly inventory counts, cycle counts, and slot audits to maintain accurate stock levels. Use RF scanners and WMS/ERP systems (SAP, NHBA, and other warehouse platforms) to verify materials, track movements, and ensure real-time data accuracy. Identify inventory discrepancies—including shortages, overages, and damages—and document findings with clear, organized reporting. Investigate root causes of inventory variances and assist in implementing corrective and preventive actions. Maintain accurate electronic and physical records for product counts, adjustments, labels, and inventory movement logs. Verify batch labels, replace missing or damaged labels, and ensure product identification complies with SOPs. Support adherence to quality, safety, and regulatory standards, including OSHA, internal SOPs, and Lean/5S processes. Collaborate with warehouse leadership, supervisors, production teams, and support staff to resolve inventory issues quickly and professionally. Communicate inventory changes, discrepancies, and operational impacts to management promptly and clearly. Assist with daily operational flow by ensuring materials are properly staged, organized, and rotated according to FIFO and storage guidelines. Utilize SAP systems to record transactions, verify data, research history, and reconcile system vs. physical inventory. Use Microsoft Excel (filters, pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP) to create, update, and analyze inventory reports. Operate RF gun/scanning devices to perform product selection, verification, and documentation. Assist with warehouse organization, 5S activities, and Lean-driven improvements to reduce waste and increase efficiency. Provide support for receiving, put‑away, picking audits, and cycle count corrections as needed. Track and report daily damages, adjustments, and reconciliation outcomes. Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant work environment at all times.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED
  • 1 year of experience in an administrative, inventory reconciliation, cycle counts, production, or supply chain support role
  • 1 year of working within a manufacturing or warehouse environment
  • 1 year of research and reporting analytics
  • 1 year of working knowledge of SAP, WMS, and MS Programs
