About The Position

We are seeking an Inventory Controller to play a key role in ensuring accurate stock management and smooth warehouse operations. This role will focus on maintaining inventory integrity, driving efficiency, and supporting the business to deliver exceptional service to customers. As an Inventory Controller, you will: Manage and maintain stock profiles, stock locations, and perpetual inventory checks. Carry out planned stock takes, audits, and cycle counts to ensure accuracy. Minimize overstock, remove obsolete items, and ensure efficient use of working capital. Ensure incoming goods are receipted and managed according to procedures. Support the goods-inward and stock control function, ensuring materials are available for production when required. Chase delayed or missing materials with suppliers and subcontractors. Produce daily reports on stock system performance, resolving discrepancies as they arise. Monitor material usage, consumables, and scrap, highlighting opportunities for improvements. Ensure compliance with company policies, health & safety, and operational standards.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in inventory control within a warehouse, logistics, or production environment.
  • Strong knowledge of stock management systems and processes.
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and external providers.
  • Good communication skills and a proactive approach to resolving issues.
