About The Position

As an Inventory Analyst, you'll play a key role in supporting the Generator and Steam Turbine product lines. You'll manage inventory reporting and forecasting, drive process improvements, and ensure accurate financial performance tracking. Partnering closely with technical and financial colleagues, you'll help shape efficient, data-driven inventory processes while supporting audits and compliance activities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in financial analysis, cost controlling, or inventory management within a manufacturing or service organization.
  • Strong knowledge of SAP (FICO) and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills with a focus on accuracy and continuous improvement.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities and multiple deliverables.
  • Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers.

Responsibilities

  • Lead monthly inventory reporting, forecasting, and analysis for Generator and Steam Turbine product lines.
  • Support cost center controlling, financial planning, and month-end closing activities including journal entries and variance analysis.
  • Prepare and review reports from SAP and other tools to provide meaningful business insights.
  • Manage inventory account reconciliations, controls (SOA), and audit support (including RIC testing and KPMG reviews).
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and transparency.
