Our Calibration Solutions portfolio uses the principles of advanced metrology to enable customers to measure and calibrate critical parameters in applications such as Environmental and Process Monitoring, Dialysis, Gas Flow, Air Quality, and Torque Testing. Job Summary The Inventory Control Technician IV is a senior-level position responsible for overseeing complex inventory management processes, leading initiatives to enhance inventory accuracy, and implementing best practices across the organization.

Requirements

  • Associate’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 4 - 6 years of experience in inventory control, logistics, or related roles, with a proven record of managing complex inventory systems and processes.
  • Advanced proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

Responsibilities

  • Direct and oversee all aspects of inventory management, ensuring optimal stock levels and accuracy in inventory records.
  • Lead the planning and execution of comprehensive inventory audits, including cycle counts and full physical inventories, to identify discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
  • Analyze inventory data and performance metrics to identify trends, forecast needs, and recommend strategic decisions to management.
  • Prepare and present detailed reports on inventory performance, highlighting areas for improvement and potential cost savings.
  • Develop and implement innovative inventory control processes and systems to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline operations related to purchasing, warehousing, and distribution.
  • Oversee the receipt of goods, ensuring compliance with quality standards and accurate documentation.
  • Coordinate shipping operations, working closely with logistics to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies, industry regulations, and safety standards in all inventory-related activities.
  • Develop and conduct training programs on best practices and compliance for inventory staff.
  • Mentor and coach inventory control team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to team members.
  • Act as a primary point of contact for complex inventory issues, facilitating resolution through collaboration with various departments.
  • Implement corrective actions to address recurring inventory discrepancies or process inefficiencies.
  • Work with management to establish inventory strategies that align with organizational goals and improve overall inventory turnover and accuracy.
  • Participate in strategic planning meetings to provide insights and recommendations based on inventory data.
