You’ll own inventory accuracy for the Rowley Fulfillment Center. That means running the cycle count program, leading a team of inventory specialists, and making sure what’s in the system matches what’s on the floor. • Direct experience supervising or leading warehouse staff, including scheduling and performance management
  • Hands-on ownership of a cycle count or inventory accuracy program
  • Experience using a Warehouse Management System (WMS) for transactions, reporting, and inventory tracking
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and standard office tools
  • Ability to operate in an active warehouse environment, including lifting up to 40 lbs

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working with automated or vertical storage systems
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Exposure to Lean or continuous improvement methods and applying them to warehouse processes
  • Experience managing both full-time employees and contract labor
  • Comfort working with inventory-related metrics, costs, and performance tracking

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of Inventory Control Specialists, including scheduling, performance management, and day-to-day direction of work
  • Run the cycle count program and hold ownership over inventory accuracy across finished goods and work-in-process inventory
  • Build and manage daily and weekly schedules to ensure coverage and execution of inventory activities
  • Use the Warehouse Management System (WMS) to track inventory movement, investigate discrepancies, and validate accuracy
  • Identify root causes of inventory issues and implement process improvements.
  • Ensure all inventory is received, stored, and transacted accurately and on time within the facility
  • Order and manage fulfillment supplies to support daily operations
  • Set and track inventory-related KPIs, then drive the team to hit those targets
  • Train and develop inventory specialists, including onboarding and ongoing skill development
  • Step in and perform inventory specialist work when needed, staying hands-on with the operation
  • Support hiring decisions, including interviewing candidates and providing input on promotions
