Job Description Essential Job Functions: Perform daily cycle counts and ensure accurate reporting of inventory levels. Investigate and resolve discrepancies between physical inventory counts and the MRP II system. Identify and analyze root causes of inventory errors and report findings weekly to supervisors and management. Provide recommendations for improving transaction accuracy within the MRP II system. Assist with physical counts during year-end or as scheduled. Audit all production entries to ensure data integrity and accuracy. Maintain warehouse organization and housekeeping, ensuring compliance with safety standards. Collaborate with team members to ensure all customer quality standards are met. Perform cross-functional duties as required, following established procedures and work instructions. Adhere to company policies, safety protocols, and quality standards as outlined in the employee handbook. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications: Minimum of one year of experience in a manufacturing environment. Ability to read and write sufficiently to understand safety policies, work instructions, chemical labels, etc. Strong mathematical and PC skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office. Knowledge of MRP II transactions and their relationship to physical plant activities. Strong problem-solving and organizational skills. Ability to operate or become certified to operate a forklift, if necessary. Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment. Demonstrated ability to apply problem-solving skills in a continuous improvement setting. Education: High school diploma or equivalent required. Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for a minimum of 8 hours per day. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Bending, reaching, stooping, and carrying items as needed.
