The Inventory Control Associate monitors and maintains the integrity of warehouse inventory and storage locations through analysis, reporting, and item/material master audit/input. This would include NIL resolution real time, corrective action to inventory variance, and reviewing historic transactions. The intended outcome is having the right parts in the right location at the right time to satisfy customer demand and financial (SOX) compliance.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma OR GED required; some college preferred
  • 1 year distribution or manufacturing experience minimum
  • 1 year Inventory Control experience preferred
  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing initiatives preferred
  • 1 year SAP experience preferred
  • Experience using Microsoft Excel
  • Equipment experience or willing to learn is required
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Effective communication skills with staff and peers
  • Pro-active approach to problem resolution
  • Ability to build and maintain positive relationships, both internally and externally, while maintaining a client service orientation problem-solve
  • Ability to concentrate on tasks and work calmly and effectively in a high-pressure, deadline-oriented environment
  • Ability to lift to 30 pounds
  • Ability to stand for extended period of times
  • Ability to work in a non-climate control environment

Responsibilities

  • Replenishments
  • Manage and complete cycle count process
  • Reconcile inventory differences and root cause reason
  • Maintains accuracy of items and material master
  • Identify irregularities in daily operational processes that create inventory issues
  • Assist with cycle counting and process audits
  • Respond and resolve NIL issues in real time
  • Research and resolve problem parts brought to the Penalty Box/Hospital Cart
  • Provide timely and appropriate reporting of requested metrics and KPIs
  • Other duties as determined by supervisor/management team
  • Continuous improvement/5S
