About The Position

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Maintain 100% traceability and accuracy for all materials, including plain end pipe (all sizes and grades), prime pipe, raw coupling stock pipe, finished couplings, and thread protectors Own, organize, and conduct physical cycle counts across warehouse and yard locations daily, weekly, and monthly. Investigate discrepancies quickly, identify root causes, and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA). Ensure materials are labeled, stored, and accounted for according to company standards. Report inventory status with a focus on aging / at-risk inventory Update KPIs and dashboards for our teams to use to monitor inventory status Learn all warehouse receiving, stocking, shipping, and staging procedures. Understand and support material flow between yard, coupling stock, and production lines. Ensure timely and accurate material movement transactions in the SAP system. Support material preservation efforts (e.g., thread protector storage, rust prevention measures on couplings). Learn and support the receiving and finalizing of farm-out jobs. Understand and support the coupling stock process by receiving, qualifying, allocating MTRs, mapping out, and coordinating the loading of saw and shipping out of coupling stock. Track production usage and returns to maintain accurate WIP (work-in-progress) visibility. Assist with staging, material allocation, and production readiness. Record all material transactions in SAP with zero errors. Maintain auditable records of receipts, transfers, issues, and adjustments. Prepare inventory reports for leadership and cross-functional teams. Support annual physical inventory and reconciliation efforts. Ensure all transactions needed to complete to reconcile yard inventory reports and SAP. Such as bin-to-bin movements, material receipt, and material shipment to ensure accuracy in SAP. Manage slow-moving inventory and communicate with the sales team on the plan moving forward to act. Manage scrap inventory and deal directly with customers on a movement plan. Train on the use of inventory reporting, batch transfers, and other transactions in SAP. Execute batch transfers in SAP to reflect the physical location of pipes Learn and improve the SAP inventory module Check daily with Leads and admins on assisting where needed. Communicate material risks (shortages, overages, incorrect storage, etc.) proactively to supervisor and/or manager. Participate in meetings regarding production schedules, material planning, GTM, FST, and inventory strategy. Follow all company safety protocols during material handling and yard operations. Participate in improvement projects related to cycle counting, warehouse layout, and process optimization. Recommend inventory control improvements based on operational observations and data trends. These key responsibilities will enable the logistics group to communicate quickly and accurately with Vallourec's threading, coupling, LMC, control, sales, and customer teams. Requirements
