About The Position
Job Summary – Inventory Control Specialist Join the Hirsch Team –We are seeking a detail-oriented Inventory Control Specialist to manage and maintain accurate inventory levels across our warehouses. This role is critical in ensuring product availability, minimizing discrepancies, and supporting smooth daily operations. Requirements
- 2+ years of inventory control experience (wholesale/distribution preferred)
- Experience with plumbing products or construction materials is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in inventory management systems (ERP/WMS)
- Intermediate Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP preferred)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in a warehouse environment
- Strong communication and organizational skills
Nice To Haves
- Experience with plumbing products or construction materials is a plus

Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels for plumbing supplies and materials
- Perform cycle counts and full physical inventory audits
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies
- Track incoming shipments and verify against purchase orders
- Coordinate with purchasing and warehouse teams to manage stock levels
- Maintain inventory records in ERP/WMS systems
- Identify slow-moving, obsolete, or overstock items
- Assist with warehouse organization and product labeling
- Generate inventory reports and provide recommendations
