Our company is seeking an Inventory Control Specialist for our Charlotte, NC distribution center that will be responsible for maintaining accurate records of inventory. Shift hours: 10:00 am – 7:00 pm (Monday – Friday)

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED required.
  • At least 1 years’ experience in inventory control.
  • Computer applications experience using MS Office.
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills.
  • Excellent analytical and mathematical skills.
  • Must be able to work in environments with variable noise levels, lighting conditions and temperature variation and able to access all areas of building without limitations.
  • Must be able to stand/walk for long periods of time.
  • Must be able to operate a forklift.
  • Must have no issues with heights.
  • Lift and move product up to 80 pounds.
  • Regular bending, lifting, stretching, and reaching both below the waist and above the head.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience within Oracle NetSuite – a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Maintains and updates inventory records within warehouse management system.
  • Performs all daily activities necessary to maintain effective inventory management procedures.
  • Responsible for bin locations in computer system and ensures location accuracy.
  • Track incoming, outgoing, and transfer stock within warehouse management system.
  • Identifying and report slow-moving or obsolete inventory.
  • Reconciles inventories within inventory management system and adjusts when necessary.
  • Recommends programs to improve the management of inventory.
  • Conduct search to locate products within the system, as necessary.
  • Ensures corrective measures to prevent discrepancies.
  • Performs weekly cycle counts and adjusts systems as necessary.
  • Develop all necessary reports and documentation to facilitate accurate inventory counts including records of all audits, counts and adjustments.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
