Inventory Control Specialist

Responsible for tracking inventory and stock changes, which includes overseeing inventory control, inspecting inventory, and maintaining stock levels. Other duties will include reporting discrepancies to management, looking for inventory discrepancies, creating reports, complete cycle counts and physical inventory. The individual will use a pallet jack and other powered industrial equipment to move products within the facility
Requirements
- Forklift and Reach Truck experience required
- 2-3 years experience in inventory control or related field
- Experience with an inventory management system
- Extremely organized and able to work with minimum supervision
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent math and analytical skills
- Physical ability to stand for long periods
- Physical ability to lift 20 to 50 pounds regularly and up to 100 pounds occasionally
- High School diploma or GED
- Experience with a computerized inventory system
- Warehouse and Inventory Experience
Responsibilities
- Monitor inventory levels and identify potential shortages
- Provide inventory reports to Purchasing and Operations
- Complete inventory counts regularly
- Reconcile inventory counts to ensure accuracy
- Assist with inventory audits and other special projects
