The Inventory Control Specialist role involves accurately managing inventory and its movement, reconciling negative inventory, spot-checking accuracy, managing adjustments on a weekly cycle, implementing a circuit board and electronic parts return program, communicating tracking information for shipped parts, and maintaining accurate and timely records for each project customer. The position also requires managing the warehouse, ensuring accurate inventory control, providing organizational skills, timely and accurate receipt of parts for excellent customer service, and conducting monthly safety audits to ensure a safe and secure warehouse.

Requirements

  • Strong organizational skills, positive attitude, excellent follow-through, and an ability to learn quickly
  • 1+ years of equivalent Inventory Control experience
  • Strong computer knowledge of computer software to include MS Office
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Responsibilities

  • Accurately manage inventory and inventory movement
  • Work weekly report to demonstrate activity to reconcile negatives
  • Spot check inventory accuracy for all levels of service department employees
  • Inventory adjustments managed and maintained on a weekly cycle
  • Implement circuit board and electronic parts return program
  • Communicate tracking information of parts that are shipped
  • Inventory control by following the process identified, keeping accurate and timely records for each project customer.
  • Manage warehouse, accurately control inventory and provide organizational skills
  • Timely and accurately receive parts as it is critical to provide excellent customer service
  • Conduct monthly safety audits to ensure the warehouse is safe and secure
  • Other duties as assigned
