Monitor open line station stockroom and aircraft fly-away-kit (FAK) requirements as determined by the inventory database. Coordinate with the repairs and purchasing departments, along with various stockrooms to ensure required inventory levels are maintained. Review daily AOG purchases and parts usage to evaluate whether current inventory levels need to be adjusted. Attend meetings with Materials Management to evaluate and discuss possible new inventory setup in domestic and international airports. Collect, review and file monthly Station Shelf-Life Reports. This includes Kalitta Air staffed and contract staffed stations. Review current expired items and final disposition of items. Review parts installations and removals to ensure inventory database accuracy. Draft reports and/or Excel spreadsheets relevant to inventory usage, cost, and history. Review any inventory discrepancies and perform corrections in the inventory database supported by detailed research (FAA certificates, data plate pictures, etc). Collaborate with Engineering to ensure accurate inventory identification and interchangeability. Generate daily cycle counts to audit physical stockroom inventory, investigating inventory inaccuracies and reconciling discrepancies. Problem solving to ensure inventory is available and accurate, minimizing waste and maximizing efficiency. Perform other duties as directed by the Inventory Control Supervisor.
