About The Position

You will be the Inventory Control Specialist for the Missiles and Fire Control team. Our team is responsible for ensuring seamless material flow, accurate inventory reporting, and reliable support to shop‑floor production. What You Will Be Doing As the Inventory Control Specialist you will be responsible for managing the end‑to-end handling of parts, tools, and equipment across the Grand Prairie facility. Your responsibilities will include: Load, unload, store, issue, and deliver materials, tools, and parts while maintaining production and cost control. Collect and stage all required items (including blueprints) for each work order, ensuring correct placement and documentation. Operate lifting and loading equipment, hand/power tools, and saws safely, including occasional handling of hazardous materials. Execute material movements in SAP, update inventory records, and generate required paperwork and logs. Assist shop personnel with material transfers, arrange items in racks/bins for optimal efficiency, and support shift coverage as needed. Requirements

  • High School degree or equivalent and twelve months related experience required.
  • Prior warehousing experience.
  • Prior experience operating a forklift.
  • Must have the ability to work 1st, 2nd or 3rd shift according to the Collective Bargaining Agreement.
  • Must have a valid driver's license
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen due to facility requirements
