About The Position

The Inventory Control Specialist is responsible for the day-to-day stock control tasks to support the needs of all Sentara hospitals. The Inventory Control Specialist works as a part of the Stock Control Team to ensure all hospitals have adequate stock on-hand to meet demand while also meeting Sentara's expectation of providing an excellent patient experience. Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Basic Excel proficiency, including working with existing pivot tables (refreshing, filtering, adjusting fields) is required
• Ability to follow documented steps to refresh and validate reports
• Critical thinking, analytical thinking
• 2 years of related experience in lieu of degree will be considered

Nice To Haves

• Familiarity with Power Query
• 3 years Purchasing/Buyer experience preferred
• Supply Chain Healthcare experience highly desired
