About The Position

RESPONSIBILITIES Assist managing and mentoring Inventory Specialists and staff. Provide accurate and timely order entry for operations. Make system adjustments as required and analyze results of counts to initiate permanent corrective actions. Responsible for running of reports, reconciliation of final count variances, and all other reconciliation activities. Process accurate perpetual inventory adjustments to match physical inventory movement, when necessary. Research inventory discrepancies and ability to reconcile them. Must be detailed oriented. Assign work to pick/pack team members. Coordinating Inventory Control support for a variety of order types. Assisting the Operations Coordinator with tracking expedited shipments.       QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB SPECIFICATIONS Bachelor’s Degree in Science or HealthCare related field or equivalent is preferred. 2-5 years healthcare warehouse experience in receiving, storing, issuing, and accounting for property in a warehouse desired Excellent computer skills Good mathematical ability, excellent organizational and communication skills, and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently with self-motivation and initiative Excellent reading and writing ability   TECHNICAL EXPERTISE Being able to navigate through ERP system – Tecsys Elite Intermediate Microsoft Office skills: Outlook, Excel (including Statistics and Pivot Tables), Access, PowerPoint, Word Experience with warehouse or supply chain environments Understanding of supply chain transportation Ability to conduct/track analytics related to Client performance Advanced public speaking and presentation skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Clear and Professional diction in English Professional phone etiquette   ADDITIONAL EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS Must be able to successfully pass all preliminary employment requirements (i.e., background check and drug screen) Must have a valid driver’s license   PHYSICAL/MENTAL/VISUAL DEMANDS Work is light to medium in nature with frequent walking to perform assigned tasks Must be able to communicate clearly with shippers and employees Must be able to read at a distance close to the eyes and at arm’s length, with or without correction       WORKING CONDITIONS Activities occur within a typical office environment Hazardous conditions may exist, such as proximity to moving mechanical parts, electrical current and working in high places   EQUIPMENT OPERATED Equipment:  Laptop computer, cell phone, fax machine, copier, and desk phone Systems:  Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Tecsys Elite (Warehouse Management System)     LifeScience Logistics is an equal opportunity employer that takes affirmative action to employ and advance in employment individuals without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, protected veteran status, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity, or any other federal, state, or local protected class.   Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

Requirements
