Cyle Counter/Inventory Control Specialist
About The Position
The Inventory Control Specialist / Cycle Counter plays a critical role in keeping our operations running smoothly. This position helps ensure inventory accuracy, product availability, and efficient production by maintaining organized, reliable inventory systems. If you’re detail‑oriented, strong with numbers, and enjoy working in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment, this could be a great fit. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory through daily reviews and hands‑on counting activities. Key responsibilities include:
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred (not required)
- At least 1 year of related experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
- Experience with ERP systems (Syteline strongly preferred)
- Working knowledge of Excel
- Strong math skills with a high level of accuracy
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong problem‑solving and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with others
- Professional, respectful interaction with coworkers and stakeholders
- Commitment to quality and continuous improvement
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Frequent use of hands, reaching, crouching, and kneeling
- Lift up to 25 lbs regularly; up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Must meet vision requirements for close, distance, color, and depth perception
- Required use of safety glasses and steel toe boots
- Safety compliance is a core expectation of this role
Responsibilities
- Conduct daily cycle counts and inventory reviews
- Research and resolve quantity and location discrepancies
- Review expiration reports, damages, shortages, and quality issues
- Maintain inventory levels using the Syteline ERP system
- Support inventory rotation and Kan Ban replenishment
- Follow all company safety procedures at all times
- Keep your workspace clean, organized, and audit‑ready
- Assist with additional inventory tasks as needed
