About The Position

Responsible for supporting production through various methods of material movement including but not limited to obtaining from supplier, transferring from outside storage facility and through cooperative efforts with customer support teams. Maintain inventory integrity through cycle counts and adjustments as needed. The position will work directly with the Operations Team and Contract Sales Group to develop workable production plans that strengthen our position with customers and our business.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree (Business Management) is preferred or an associate degree along with commensurate experience
• 3 to 5 years of inventory control / production planning experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with Microsoft Office and Microsoft AX.
• Must have excellent communication skills and work in a team atmosphere.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with suppliers / customers as needed to ensure plans are current and expedited / de-expedited as needed.
• To work with Suppliers to improve quality, delivery and reduce costs.
• Lead annual Physical Inventory in the Plant.
• To manage component inventory levels to support production and protect strategic inventory levels for future projected needs.
• Create and/or update part numbers and BOMS in AX as needed.
• Assure production posting is done in accurately and timely manner.
• Assist QIT group and assist other in consulting position.
• Coordinate daily transfers from outside storage.
• Resolve inventory discrepancies as needed.
