About The Position

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for an Inventory Control Manager in the United States. This role is ideal for an operations-focused professional with a strong understanding of inventory lifecycle management across domestic and international environments. The Inventory Control Manager will oversee third-party warehouses, ensuring inventory accuracy, timely transaction processing, and streamlined communications with logistics partners. You will leverage technology, business systems, and AI tools to forecast inventory needs, optimize safety stock, and drive operational efficiency. This position requires collaboration across internal teams and external 3PL partners to implement process improvements, resolve discrepancies, and maintain high standards of accuracy and compliance. Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in inventory management, supply chain, procurement, or warehouse operations within a B2B 3PL environment.
  • International experience across regions such as Mexico, Canada, UK, Netherlands, or Southeast Asia.
  • Strong understanding of inventory systems (Netsuite, Salesforce, E2open, WMS) and moderate expertise in Excel or similar applications.
  • Knowledge of AI applications in inventory forecasting, auditing, safety stock optimization, and predictive analytics.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to manage stakeholders under tight deadlines.
  • Proven experience in process automation, systems integration, and operational efficiency improvements.
  • Flexible and adaptable, capable of collaborating across different time zones.

Nice To Haves

  • Netsuite administration certifications, supply chain/operations certifications (Six Sigma, APICS), and a track record of independent project management.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee domestic and international third-party warehouses, ensuring accurate cycle counts, obsolete stock handling, returns, and overall inventory accuracy.
  • Serve as the key liaison between internal teams and 3PL providers to resolve shipment issues and improve operational workflows.
  • Ensure inventory-related transactions are completed within 24 hours with 99% accuracy.
  • Optimize inventory management processes using AI, forecasting, and predictive analytics tools.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to proactively identify and resolve operational challenges.
  • Provide training and guidance to 3PL partners to ensure alignment with operational standards.
  • Monitor and report on 3PL performance, inventory metrics, and process improvements.
