About The Position

The Inventory Control Manager is responsible for overseeing and leading all inventory control operations at the Brattleboro, Vermont Warehouse. Reporting to the Sr. Manager of Inventory Control, this role ensures the accuracy and integrity of inventory data through effective leadership of the cycle count program, control procedures, audits, and root cause analysis. The Manager will also supervise Inventory Control (IC) operators on-site and serve as the key point of contact for inventory-related issues and process improvements. This position reports to the Senior Manager, Inventory Control. The Accounting team is part of the Finance organization, which is a critical financial business partner for the Company. Finance functions include General Accounting, Accounts Payable & Receivable, Internal Audit, FP&A. Our Finance team is a trusted source of financial information and guidance for our internal customers, partners, customers, suppliers, regulators, and stakeholders.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in inventory control, warehouse, or materials management, with at least a minimum of 2 years’ people leadership experience.
  • Strong initiative and attention to detail.
  • Excellent safety record and adherence to PPE requirements.
  • Proven track record of productivity, quality maintenance, and process improvement.
  • Onsite position based in Brattleboro, Vermont Warehouse

Nice To Haves

  • Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all inventory control activities at the Brattleboro, Vermont warehouse facility.
  • Schedule, monitor, and approve cycle counts and inventory adjustments in SAP in accordance with company policy.
  • Allocate daily assignments to Inventory Control operators and supervise their performance.
  • Conduct root cause analysis for inventory discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
  • Perform and oversee random floor audits, empty bin verifications, and spot checks to ensure inventory accuracy.
  • Research and resolve inventory variances in collaboration with internal teams.
  • Ensure accurate execution of all inventory transactions including inbound receiving, RMA/NCMR transactions, bin-to-bin transfers, and warehouse transfers.
  • Audit receiving paperwork and inventory documentation to identify and resolve discrepancies.
  • Maintain and document standard operating procedures (SOPs) and ensure compliance across the team.
  • Respond to buyers and internal requests for item checks and inventory validations.
  • Track and report on key inventory performance indicators.
  • Communicate audit findings and inventory issues to the Sr. Manager, customer representatives, and warehouse operations team as needed.
