About The Position

The Inventory Control Manager leads inventory accuracy, quality assurance, compliance, and process control within a high‑volume e‑commerce fulfillment operation, with accountability for inventory integrity, audits, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives that directly impact customer satisfaction and operational performance. This role requires a data‑driven, hands‑on leader who thrives in fast‑paced environments and understands the critical connection between inventory accuracy, quality performance, and service level achievement, bringing strong analytical capability, a systems mindset, and proven experience leading ICQA teams in complex warehouse operations.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED, or equivalent experience plus education.
5+ years’ experience in preventive maintenance and troubleshooting of electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and robotic packaging machinery within a co-packing, or warehouse facility.
Leadership experience directly managing a team of direct reports.
Experience in fast-paced, multi-phase production or distribution environments.
Skilled in electrical testing and repairing various equipment including systems (vertical form and fill, case packing equipment, forklifts etc.) 24VDC to 480VAC 3-phase.
Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills; ability to read schematics and equipment drawings.
Proficient with power tools, hand tools, and testing equipment; able to operate forklifts, lifts, and other material handling devices.
Excellent communication, time management, and attention to detail skills.
Ability to work safely, maintain cooperative relationships, and perform physical tasks (standing, bending, reaching) for extended periods.
Ability to work at heights of up to 50 feet on various types of equipment.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

Lead all inventory control and quality assurance functions to ensure inventory accuracy and compliance with customer and company standards.
Develop and execute cycle count programs, physical inventory processes, and audit controls to maintain inventory integrity.
Analyze inventory discrepancies, identify root causes, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
Partner with Operations leadership to drive quality performance and ensure adherence to service level agreements and accuracy targets.
Oversee quality inspections, inbound and outbound compliance checks, and damage control processes.
Establish and monitor KPIs related to inventory accuracy, shrink, quality defects, and process compliance.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives using data, Lean principles, and structured problem-solving methodologies.
Ensure compliance with customer requirements, regulatory standards, and company policies.
Develop and mentor inventory and quality team members to build a culture of accountability and operational excellence.
Collaborate cross-functionally with Operations, Safety, HR, and Customer teams to resolve issues and improve performance.
Prepare and present weekly and monthly performance reports to site and senior leadership.
Maintain a visible, floor-focused leadership presence to support audits, investigations, and real-time issue resolution.
