Long Prairie Packing, LLC, an American Foods Group company, has an opportunity for an Inventory Control Loading Dock position. As the Loading Dock Inventory Control employee, you must be able to perform the following duties: Work in environments of extreme cold and extreme heat. Conduct regular product cycle and inventory counts throughout the production plant. Adjust inventory levels according to a physical count. Relay actual counts to Accounting Department. Sign, sort, open, and deliver incoming mail and packages. Verify shipments, adjust as needed. Ensure that all packing slips are attached to POs. Copy, track, and maintain purchase requisitions. Create bill-of-landings and shipping manifests. Bill all outbound products. Verify and sign off on all incoming products. Set schedules with outside vendors for truck arrival times. Work with trucking lines (internal and external) Make calls to customize and deliver goods. Manage incoming and outgoing calls to handle inquiries and/or provide support via phone. Communicate with, navigate, and direct third-party auditors. Work closely with the Sales Department to verify that inventory is available. Reconcile any errors committed on inventory labels. Assist with annual year-end fiscal inventory of the company meat store, production, and freezer items. NOTE: this description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
