About The Position
UW Medicine-Supply Chain Management has an outstanding opportunity for a full-time Inventory Control Coordinator. WORK SCHEDULE 100% FTE Monday – Friday Day Shift DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION UW Medicine Supply Chain Management enhances our patient care experience by delivering a robust foundation of services, operational and technical support, and the sharing of comprehensive, relevant, and highly specialized supply chain management expertise. POSITION HIGHLIGHTS Lead staff in regular cycle counts and requisition of replacement supplies Implement the UW Medicine Supply Chain strategy under direction of the Assistant Director, Strategic Operations Partner with others in UW Medicine Materials & Logistics to make operational improvement programs
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare, Business or Logistics/Supply Chain Management
- 2 years of Supply Chain Management, business operations or Finance management experience in a healthcare setting
Responsibilities
- Accountable for warehouse inventories; monitoring volumes, flow, and sourcing
- Analyze product usage and optimize inventory levels
- Independently make decisions and take action regarding supply shortages, keeping management informed and making recommendations based on independent analysis
- Maintain/monitor distribution statistics; create monthly reports
- Assist leadership in managing inventory control projects
