About The Position

The inventory Control Coordinator is an essential position in ensuring that the inventory needs of operations are met and that inventory records are accurate. They ensure the accuracy of the perpetual inventory at all times by researching inventory variances, maintaining the integrity of component storage locations, and monitoring material receiving and other material movement transactions. Maintain the accuracy of defect material and reconcile all discrepancies.

  • Previous experience with Microsoft Excel, Outlook and Word required.
  • Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Ability to read and understand English instructions.
  • Strong math skills
  • Conversion to lowest unit of measure and calculating price
  • Ability to apply simple math concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situation
  • Forklift experience
  • General warehouse cleanup and housekeeping
  • Must be able to stand, walk, sit, bend, run, squat and on occasion, lift-up to 35-40 lbs.

Nice To Haves

  • 2+ years’ work experience as a cycle counter (preferred)
  • Inventory control: 1 year (Preferred)
  • picker
  • Prior warehouse/inventory experience
  • SAP WM/MRP/ERP system (preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Perform daily cycle counts of inventory on production floor and in the warehouse(s)
  • Publish daily cycle count results
  • Research inventory discrepancies.
  • Maintain labeling for all physical spaces where material is stored (a place for everything and a label for every place).
  • Verify Inventory on stock outs and shortages
  • Maintain and improve relations with warehouse personnel to optimize the movement of materials throughout the warehouse(s) and production floors.
  • Analyze material movements and report performance.
  • Processes returns from customers (RMAs).
  • Maintain accuracy of defect material storage locations and processes through QA notifications and reconciliation.
  • Other duties as assigned
