About The Position

The Inventory Control Coordinator ensures the inventory on hand is accurately recorded, managed on a FIFO basis, and meets all quality requirements. The inventory coordinator must be a detail-oriented problem solver with strong analytical and communication skills. The ability to work in an ERP system, and with multiple teams is a must to ensure the accuracy of inventory.

  • 2+ years of working in a warehouse, production line, or inventory control position.
  • Proficient in MS Excel and other MS products

Responsibilities

  • Perform daily, weekly, and monthly cycle counts on raw ingredients.
  • Research and correct inventory discrepancies found during cycle counts.
  • Review and reconcile canning production and labeling jobs daily, resolve discrepancies, and close work orders promptly.
  • Ensure materials for production runs are staged, available, and in good quality condition.
  • Ensure inventory is organized and is used on a FIFO basis.
  • Identify, research, communicate, and process any shortages and issues.
  • Identify products that are aged or quality compromised, work with QA to review and assess, and disposition products as necessary.
  • Audit all inventory transactions and report inventory variances.
  • Research and correct inventory discrepancies found during cycle counts.
  • Assist in leading the annual physical inventory count.
  • Drive a forklift as needed.
  • Support other areas as needed.
